Community Support - BetEasy
At BetEasy, giving to the community is part of everyday – we give, we foster a culture of generosity and caring, and we share our skills and resources with our charity partners. We have a young team at BetEasy who truly care and want to make a difference.
Our Staff Giving Program conveys our values, enhances our workplace culture and deepens our connection to the community. We offer paid leave for volunteering, we have set up a program to facilitate staff payroll donations with BetEasy matching the gift and we have created some fun team events with a social purpose.
In the Crown Metropol Stair Climb our staff competed to run up 28 floors, whilst raising funds with family, friends and colleagues to support their chosen charity. Together with Crown Melbourne, we have raised $115,000 for charity The Luke Batty Foundation and $53,500 for charity Step Back Think to reduce domestic and social violence in Australia.
We support the Mirabel Foundation through our much-loved Christmas gift drive, donating over $25,000 and 270 gifts. Mirabel do amazing work, helping children who have been orphaned or abandoned due to parental drug use.
Through staff volunteering and donations, BetEasy has supported a further 25 different charities and causes from sea turtles to premature babies and indigenous education.
BetEasy also supports important causes that are specific to the industries in which we operate. For example, we support fallen jockeys and the families of deceased jockeys through the National Jockeys Trust and together with the wider racing industry we support The Anzac Day Appeal Fund.
We hope to inspire altruism by giving our customers an opportunity to gift their BetEasy Rewards points to charity. Charity donations have become one of our most popular redemption items and customers have told us that this enhances their experience of BetEasy and our unique loyalty program. Importantly, it generates vital funding and awareness for our charity partners, year round.
